Our Spring Summer 2013 production is in full swing at the moment. The fabric was printed in Northern China back in November and delivered to another little factory in Southern China in December. I visited the factory recently for a pre-production meeting, we hold these meetings right before bulk production begins with the chief seamstresses and pattern cutters in the factory. Each design is reviewed in great deal to ensure there are no mistakes made on the production line. We cover everything from the exact placement of care labels to how we will cut the  fabric in each garment panel. It's always a bit tedious and nerve-wracking but these meetings are probably the most important moments in the story of how my designs materialise. I never underestimate the skill of the workers that sew our clothing and I count on them to bring Book of Deer to life. I can't wait to receive our big delivery! x
