HAPPY 3rd BIRTHDAY BOOK OF DEER! My brand baby is growing up so fast!A big thank you to all of you that have helped me nurture Book of Deer to blossom from the tiny seed of an idea I planted 5 years ago. As time goes on, the things that used to seem so daunting and scary get a little easier. I suppose only time and experience can give me the confidence to keep believing that Book of Deer will continue to grow. It also seems apt that I turn 29 this week, nothing like birthdays to remind you to take stock of how far you've come and to make you think about what you want from the future. I can't look back without also being excited about what the coming year might bring.

All I can say is running this little business of mine, which at times still feels so very small and new, is a joy and a privilege.
