It's been a busy month for me with BoD and life in general. We are in the middle of AW13 production which means we'll be shipping out those boat prints and nautical sweats very very soon! I'm looking forward to getting the new collection into the online shop and kissing Camp Book of Deer goodbye!... just as I can't wait for the weather to get cooler over here and start wearing a few more layers, I'm really more of a tights and cardie girl. I'm also in the midst of finalising the new SS14 collection, to be unveiled late September... I'm really excited about this one, expect more unique prints on new fabrics and some hippie silhouettes! In other exciting news Book of Deer will be exhibiting at our first ever trade show in Tokyo in October!! This is beyond exciting for me. Not only because a trade show is a big step forward for BoD but also because Tokyo has been on my travel list since I had a Tamagotchi. I intend to stuff my face with sushi and spend all my pocket money on pens and stickers.

On a personal front, the list of chores is never-ending because my big sister gets married in less than 2 weeks!! I've never been a bridesmaid before but I take my duty as chief Hen night organiser very seriously... I've organised a Vampire themed Karaoke night! We have loads of visitors in town from far away so I'll be playing tour guide, I do an excellent fishball and noodle tour of Hong Kong if I do say so myself...
