The conception of every Book of Deer season begins with a seed of inspiration that grows into many branches of ideas. I gather images that evoke a feeling I'm trying to capture and pictures of design detailing that I might try to emulate in my collection. In the good old days (i.e pre- Pinterest) we made mood boards the old fashioned way, cutting pics out of magazines and googling and photocopying. These days I create my inspiration boards on Pinterest, it saves time and paper!
